Prof. Dr. Claudia Kemfert has been Head of the department “Energy, Transportation, Environment” at the German Institute of Economic Research (DIW Berlin) since 2004 and Professor for Energy Economics and Sustainability at the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin since 2009. She is also part of Scientists for Future and an energy and environmental economist and government advisor to the German Advisory Council on the Environment.
