Sabrina Lorenz is an author, speaker, consultant, and activist with a clear mission: bringing inclusion to the heart of society. As a chronically ill and severely disabled social worker, she shares inspiring insights on disability empowerment and online activism through her blog Fragments of Living, reaching over 37,000 people. In her TEDxFreiburg talk, Sabrina poses the central question: what happens to our self-perception when we don’t see ourselves reflected in the society around us?

Under the overarching theme of Movement, Sabrina illustrates how the Disability Rights Movement drives not only structural and political change but also begins within ourselves. Her vision is a world without barriers – a world where self-determination and representation are fundamental prerequisites for an inclusive society. Her talk is a passionate call to action for a more diverse, inclusive, and less ableist society, inspiring you to become part of this vital movement.
