Less lessons, more time to learn; going from “7G lessons” towards “V8 accompaniment”; and being a living model for the attitude towards success. Our speaker Patricia Schmidt would like to rethink schools and lessons from the ground up. She is herself a deputy headmistress and therefore sees it as their task is to pass something on to others, to encourage and inspire them to take new paths. Her vision: courage to change schools from the inside out, so that the focus is on the learners’ individual learning process.
In addition to her work at the Alemannic School in Wutöschingen, Patricia Schmidt is active, among other things, as secretary of the Hochrhein brass band association, as conductor of the Lauchringen youth wind orchestra and as conductor of the Oberlauchringen music association.
