In the TEDxFreiburg team, Markus is mainly involved in curation, which involves selecting and supporting the speakers.
Beyond TEDx, he loves to dance, cook, eat, and do things in nature like rock climbing and hiking. He is actually a trained physicist – but now he is more of a Swiss army knife and is always deployed in organizations where there is a burning need, where creative solutions are needed or where things simply have to get done. He does this full-time and part-time as a freelancer.
What I particularly like about Freiburg is the location in the border triangle and right next to the Black Forest – which goes well with my hobbies. I also like that everything can be reached by bike and I don’t need a car.
