Did you know that in the wine region Baden alone, wine is grown on an area of almost 16.000 hectares? What if we could use this land more sustainably and at the same time give winegrowers more control over their fields? Jana Kalmbach and her team at Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems ISE in Freiburg are working on exactly this topic. We are happy to have gained her as a speaker for our event in 2021 and are very excited about the insights she shared into the world of agrivoltaics.
